Below is a link for ppt presentaion i created about Lenhard Euler. Thought i would try something different.
When you click the link it’s going to open up in the another page. Click on the link right above leonhard-euler.ppt. When the file download appears, click ‘OPEN’, To move through the slideshow click the mouse!!!

I’d like to register for Course 2, Modern Notation and Applications. Will this be taught over the summer session?
I’m personally excited about this course because he’s the father of so much that we know as math today. I wonder if he really knew that 200 years later people would know his name and sign up for the seminar just because he was the instructor.
My only concern is, will translation services be available? My german, and french language skill are quite lacking, as is my russion also.
Please let me know where I can send my deposit so that I can secure a seat before it sells out.

I would like to register for MordernNotation in MAthematics, for the fall of 2007. The class seems very interesting. I’ve always wondered where most of the mathematical notations come from. Lenhard Euler seems like and intersting guy. I’ll hopefully enjoy myself in the fall of 07.

It is interesting they are offering a course on notation in science. I intend to register for the class because I think it will help me in writing papers for physics, math and other engineering subjects. At the end of the class I expect to be able to simplify theories in a much shorter and more clear notation. My only concern is communicating with the teacher but I believe the notation to be universal.
